and they lived happily ever after
Atlanta—When Anthea Drew and Miles Mazzawi purchased their new townhome they saw it as an investment in the future. What Drew didn’t know was that Mazzawi had plans to solidify their future together. They closed on their townhome on May 2. Later that night, Drew and Massawi were happily painting their master bedroom when Mazzawi left to run an errend. Drew heard the doorbell ring about an hour later, and when she opened the door she saw Mazzawi, wearing a tie and jacket and carrying a dozen, beautiful red roses. Tears of joy filled Drew’s eyes as Mazzawi dropped to one knee to ask for her hand in marriage on the threshhold of what will be the couple’s first home together.
Drew, 30, and Mazzawi, 33, are both dentists. They met in a class they both attended 8 years ago and have been friends ever since. They have been dating for the past two years and opened a successful pediatratric practice, Cherokee Children’s Dentistry, about two years ago. They saw The Towns of Crescent Park and knew that this would be perfect for their first home together.
“We spent several months looking for a place to purchase as a couple, and as soon as we saw this community we knew we were home,” said Mazzawi. “I had this proposal planned before we even started looking for a home. It just seemed so perfect to ask her to spend the rest of her life with me as we entered this new chapter of our lives together.”
“I was so surprised! He looked so handsome, and I was covered in paint,” laughed Drew. “I knew he was the one for me, and I was confident in our decision to buy at The Towns of Crescent Park, but this was just the icing on the cake!”
The couple, like many others, chose The Towns of Crescent Park because it is a thriving Live/Work/Play community. It’s location in Cobb County in Circle 75, means that they will have lower property taxes, but still have an Atlanta address.
“The Towns of Crescent Park really has it all! A fantastic location, superior quality construction, an extensive list of standard options that won Drew and Mazzawi over the first time they visited the community. The community is perfect for young couples. It has great amenities, and even a gated dog park,” said Morris & Raper on-site agent, Michelle Legan.
The community offers unique architecture which is reminiscent of the east coast, an appeal unlike anything else in the immediate area. The community features three-story Brownstone-style townhomes complete with exceptional architectural features such as Juliet balconies, arched windows, limestone accents, and hand-engraved addresses.
“Michelle and Lori were wonderful to work with! They were both prompt and helped us make a lot of decisions. I moved in after that first weekend and I love the townhome, “said Drew. “The neighbors are great. They welcomed us right away. We chose the Avondale plan and my favorite part is the openness! The living room and kitchen are so spacious. The neighborhood has beautiful houses that create a traditional, livable neighborhood.”
Standard options found throughout the homes include rich hardwood floors stained onsite; 10-foot ceilings with recessed lighting; elaborate millwork with three-piece crown molding; judges paneling; trey ceilings in the master and guest bedrooms; built-in cabinets and bookshelves; and cook’s kitchens with stainless steel appliances, 42-inch maple cabinets, granite countertops and oversized center islands great for entertaining; and finished lower levels. All homes are also pre-wired for whole house theater sound and security systems.
When complete, the community will consist of 107 townhomes. Homeowners can choose from one of four floor plans ranging in size from 2,100 to more than 2,350 square feet with three or four bedrooms and three and one-half baths. Homes in The Towns of Crescent Park are priced from $324,900, with the average selling price for townhomes in this popular neighborhood at $346,925.
