Atlanta Broadway Series at the Cobb Energy Center

Some great plays are coming to the Cobb Energy Center in the upcoming months. The Atlanta Broadway Series has 3 shows between now and May of 2010.
Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps will be showing December 1-6, 2009. This 2 time Tony Award winner mixes a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel. This is one of Broadway’s most intriguing, most thrilling, most riotous comedies! The mind-blowing cast of 4 actors playing over 150 characters takes you on an extraordinarily entertaining adventure. It is a laugh out loud show for audiences of all ages.
Fiddler on the Roof will be showing form March 16-21, 2010. This show, based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, has been acclaimed by critics again and again, and won the hearts of people all around the world. This timeless classic combines music, dance, poignancy and laughter into an unforgettable experience for the entire family.
Avenue Q will be showing from May 18-23, 2010. The show won 4 Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 2004. This hilarious show full of heart and memorable tunes is about trying to make it in NYC with big dreams and a tiny bank account. Entertainment Weekly called Avenue Q “one of the funniest shows you’re ever likely to see”. With a cast of people and puppets, the story is told in a smart, risqué and enjoyable way. Parental discretion is advised for this show, as it deals with adult subjects.
The Cobb Energy Center is minutes away from CDircle 75. These Cobb County townhomes are the perfectly located, making it convienent to grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants nearby before heading over to see the show.
