This Halloween, why not do something fun and healthy before chowing down on all the sweets and goodies?
On Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 7:30 am, the Silver Comet Half Marathon Halloween 09 will take place. The race will begin at the Mable House Cultural Arts Center located at 5239 Floyd Road, Mableton, GA 30126. A 2 mile fun run will begin after the half marathon starts, and it will end at the Bike Depot.
All pre-registered half marathon runners will receive a long sleeved t-shirt and a finisher medal. The finish line celebration will be held at the in the lower parking of the Silver Comet Depot Trail Head. The after race food and beverage will be provided by Fontis Water, Kroger, Sweet Tomatoes & Ted’s Montana Grill.
